Past Events - 2010

The QUT Optometry Alumni Group held a Continuing Education Evening on the Management of Complex Glaucoma Case Studies on October 11th at Kelvin Grove Campus.

This event was sponsored by Pfizer Australia and earned its attendees 4 CPD points.

The guest speaker was
Associate Professor Graham Lee MS BS (QLD), M Med SC, FRANZCO

Graham Lee completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 1991 at the University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia, a Master of Medical Science in Ophthalmology in 1994 and Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmology in 2000. He returned from the United Kingdom in 2001 completing a Glaucoma Fellowship at Birmingham and Midlands Eye Centre and a Cataract, Cornea and Refractive Fellowship at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London. In 2005, he was awarded a Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Queensland for his published works on anterior segment disease. He holds the academic title of Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Queensland and has a keen interest in teaching and research with over 50 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters.
