An Alumni Dinner was held at the Renaissance Kuala Lumpur following QUT Graduation Ceremony on Sunday 22 April 2007
The first event for 2005 for the group was a dinner at the Renaissance Kuala Lumpur. Over 60 QUT Alumni and guests enjoyed a night of great food and entertainment.
A small group of Alumni met for Dinner in Kuala Lumpur in November.
Alumni in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah meet for a tea reception in December.
In 2004, the group held an Alumni Dinner at the Menara KL (KL Tower), Megan View Banquet Deck in March,this was followed by an Alumni Careers and Networking evening held in September at the JW Marriott Hotel.
In 2003, the group held a dinner at the Royal Selangor Club in Kuala Lumpur which provided an opportunity to network with other alumni and meet up with QUT Staff, including Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dennis Gibson who was on his last visit to Malaysia as Vice-Chancellor of QUT.
The dinner also provided the opportunity to welcome the new graduands who graduated in March 2003 to the group.
QUT Alumni gathered and met with Vice-Chancellor, Professor Peter Coaldrake in Kuala Lumpur at the JW Marriot Hotel in October 2003 for a cocktail reception.
