About the Information Professionals Alumni Chapter

The chapter has been established as a means of maintaining a link between QUT's Library and Information Studies and Teacher-Librarianship courses and graduates out in the field. The Alumni group committee has planned a number of social, networking and professional development opportunities for graduates.

Long Term Goals

The three core areas the Information Professionals will focus on are:

• To run social events;
• Formal networking; and
• Professional development of past, present and future students.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the chapter, complete an expression of interest form. Submit the completed form directly to alumni@qut.edu.au or fax to 07 3138 1514. Graduates of QUT's library degree programs, including teacher librarians, who would like an invitation to our next event, should email us on ip.alumni@qut.edu.au. .We are continually looking for any suggestions about where our Alumni Chapter should be going, so please do not hesitate to contact us with your ideas!
