QUT China Alumni

QUT Alumni celebrated the launch of the QUT China Alumni Group, in June 2008, in Shanghai. The Group aims to provide opportunities for alumni to engage with QUT and each other through a range of social and professional activities.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Peter Coaldrake and Deputy Vice-Chancellor Scott Sheppard were there to meet with alumni, friends and business partners of the University. It was a great opportunity to catch up with old friends and make some new contacts.

QUT Alumni and University Partners gathered in Beijing on Wednesday, 8 November 2006 to meet with QUT Vice-Chancellor, Professor Peter Coaldrake and other QUT Staff at an Alumni Dinner.

2005
QUT Alumni and University Partners gathered in Shanghai on Sunday, 27 November 2005 to meet with QUT Vice-Chancellor Professor Peter Coaldrake. QUT Honorary Doctorate, Dr. Liu Huai Yuan - President, China Port Machinery Co. was guest speaker.
