QUT China Alumni Group

Celebrating the launch of the QUT China Alumni Group , Alumni in China are invited to attend the launch of the QUT China Alumni Group in Shanghai on Friday, 20 June 2008. The Group aims to provide opportunities for alumni to engage with QUT and each other through a range of social and professional activities.

The event will be a complimentary buffet dinner, held from 6.30pm-9.00pm at the Ballroom, 2nd Floor, Radisson Plaza Xing Guo Hotel Shanghai, 78 Xing Guo Road, Shanghai. There will be some interesting speakers and a few surprises as well.

Join the Vice Chancellor Professor Peter Coaldrake and Deputy Vice-Chancellor Scott Sheppard to meet with alumni, friends and business partners of the University. It is a great opportunity to catch up with old friends and make some new contacts.

QUT Alumni is pleased to announce its partnership with the Australia China Alumni Association, a newly established organisation in China that aims to provide a platform to connect alumni of Australian universities together for a range of professional and networking opportunities. A launch event was held in Beijing in September 2007 and alumni of QUT were encouraged to attend.

QUT Alumni and University Partners gathered in Beijing on Wednesday, 8 November 2006 to meet with QUT Vice-Chancellor, Professor Peter Coaldrake and other QUT Staff at an Alumni Dinner.

2005
QUT Alumni and University Partners gathered in Shanghai on Sunday, 27 November 2005 to meet with QUT Vice-Chancellor Professor Peter Coaldrake. QUT Honorary Doctorate, Dr. Liu Huai Yuan - President, China Port Machinery Co. was guest speaker.
