The Built Environment and Engineering Dean's Scholars (BEEDS) Alumni Group strives to create a prestigious group of highly coveted engineers. This exclusive group is open to both graduates and undergraduates of the BEE Faculty Dean's Scholars Program. We aim to provide networking and professional development opportunities through the organisation of events between alumni members, industry and QUT.

Annual BEEDS Great Debate
Join us for drinks and finger food as the greatest minds of the 21st Century (i.e. the civil engineers) battle it out in a contest of wits and cunning, like none ever seen before.
Although you will surely be on the edge of your seat screaming for blood, (and of course passionately professing your love to the incredibly handsome speakers), there will be copious opportunity to mingle with your fellow participants: current Dean’s Scholars, Alumni, QUT academic staff and engineers from industry.
Join your discipline and (pointlessly) attempt to defeat the colossal and all-powerful civil engineers as you battle it out to be crowned the BEEDS Great Debate Champions of 2012.
