2009 Outstanding Alumni Awards Breakfast Ceremony

QUT alumni are invited to attend this year’s Outstanding Alumni Awards to recognise the contribution of graduates of QUT and its predecessor institutions.   

The purpose of the Outstanding Alumni Awards is to recognise Australian and overseas graduates of QUT and its predecessor institutions for exceptional professional, academic or research achievement and contribution to the community at the local, state, national or international levels.


Date:  Wednesday 22 July
Time:  7.15am for 7.30am – 9.00am
Venue:  Plaza Terrace Room, Plaza Level, Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, Cnr Merivale and Glenelg Streets, South Bank
Cost:  Individual seat $50: Table (10 guests) $500 (including GST)
RSVP no later than 1 July (click here for an RSVP form)
Dress:  Business Attire

The following awards will be announced at the ceremony in July:

  • One Chancellor’s Outstanding Alumnus Winner (chosen from the *Faculty Winners).
  • One Outstanding Young Alumnus Award Winner.
  • Special Excellence awards may be awarded at the discretion of the Chancellor’s Judging Panel.
